Was this the right decision?

These girls that are about a year younger than me kept texting and calling me and one had a crush on me. To get them to not like me anymore, when they came to my door I donned my Freddy Kreugger costume and I grabbed a steak knife and stood in the window. They got so scared hahaha! Am I a sick person for doing this or did i just handle it the wrong way.
